Facebook Timeline and Profile Public Release Date
There’s been a lot of buzz about the new Facebook layout and timeline. I finally enabled the new timeline through the developer release. In doing so, it looks like the public release of the new Facebook timeline and profile is October 6.
Update: Obviously, the new template hasn’t been released yet to the public. At one point, there was some conflict with a lawsuit. I also believe Facebook is making sure they get it right with this rollout. The update rearranges users profile pages significantly.
This was the message displayed on my profile page as I was editing the new profile layout.

Of course I hit publish now. I’m not waiting a whole week! And of course Facebook let me know just developers could see my newly enabled Facebook profile and timeline.

I have recently thrown myself into SEO because I believe any great web designer should understand it. So, to learn more on Susan, I turned to Google and wanted to share what I saw. Not on Susan, but in the search results.
Facebook Security Check When Tagging in Posts

Why a Security Check
Spam. From Facebook “This is a standard security test that we use to prevent spammers from creating false accounts and spamming users” Yeah, I’ll click okay. Thanks for watch my back Facebook. Have you ever visited a Facebook page that you liked and saw a bunch of posts that didn’t really make sense? Or wall posts that did a bunch of advertising? That’s exactly the stuff they are aiming to crack down on.
It’s about time. Take a look.

I know that mustache is hard to avoid but have you seen this message before when tagging a friend or page?
